It wasn't embarrassing for me. I didn't boo the wrong guy. I know exactly who pulled a Kariya on us. Except Kariya did a lot of great things for us.

Schultz, I hope you continue to react to controversy by sucking like you did tonight. You can move to any team you want, including my Ducks, and I will boo your @$$ every night.

I hope you looked around on your way to the rink tonight and saw what a bad weather day during hockey season looks like around here. I hope you looked around and saw what the women professional hockey players get look like. You should never have listened to Gretzky, he steered you wrong dude. Suck it!

That Michael Russo tweet is a little misleading... they weren't booing Nick Schultz instead of Justin, they were booing him in addition to Justin. And they even started booing Ryan Whitney because he sucked so bad when he was a Duck and we wasted Chris Kunitz on him.

My feelings are that I understand why he wanted to play for Edmonton. It's a team absolutely loaded with young talent and they have the potential to be good in a few years. It makes sense that he'd want to be a part of that. But I do wonder if he's had any regrets after looking up at the Ducks in the standings all year.

He was just wrong in the way he went about it. If he didn't want to play for the Ducks, he should have told them that and let them trade him for something. Anything would be better than what we got for him.

I find it hard to believe that someone wouldn't want to play in Orange County, literally the nicest place to live on Earth besides maybe a tropical island, but I understand that these guys want to live closer to home. That's fine. Just tell the Ducks that that's what you want. He wouldn't be considered such a scumbag if he privately requested a trade and allowed the Ducks to get some kind of return for him.

The Ducks could of been in a epic position if J.Schultz would of stayed with them. Ducks really need that RH shot dman. Sucks the Ducks dont get anything out of him just walking away from them. I not a Ducks fan dont like seeing this kind of stuff happen. But good for the Ducks to not only get the win. But to be the better team this season. He would of been such a better player in Anaheim this year.

This Schultz situation is crap....no way the ducks shouldn't have got something in return. There needs to be an amendment here. Reminds me of when the Sabres drafted Brian Campbell as a late round pick. 2 years later he is the OHL dman of the year and doesn't want to sign and wants to re-enter the draft to be a 1st rounder and make more money. Ultimately his father made him sign with the Sabres and honor the fact that they drafted him. Schultz should've been a stand up dude and honored the ducks faith in drafting him.....period

Flyers aren't looking much better right now.

I don't blame Schultz for not signing with the Ducks. I wouldn't want to sign with a franchise that was started because of a Disney movie.

But the Oilers have the brightest future in all of professional sports... They already have their names penciled in for the 2013, 14, 15 & 16 Stanley Cups.

They weren't started because of the disney movie, they were just named after the disney movie. They were started because Wayne Gretzky made hockey popular in southern California.

Oilers have a great talent pool but don't have the correct mix of players you need to go far in the playoffs. The Ducks have done great this year however they probably won't go far in the playoffs because they lack" time of possession" against the bigger stronger teams. The Kings lost the other night but dominated the Ducks in puck possession and shots and that won't cut it in a 7 game playoff series.

The Only reason there is even a TEAM in Anaheim is because of Wayne Gretzky and the Edmonton Oilers. You're welcome.

"I'm more confused than ever," Murray said last July. "I read everything, of course. I've moved on. I'm confused because, if he had it in his mind that he wanted to play in Canada, then OK. I get that. I'm a Canadian too.
"But Eric Lindros when he didn't want to play in Quebec, he went to his team that drafted him and said 'No, I'm not going to play there.' He allowed that team to make a move to get something for him. He told us numerous times he wanted to play with us. He needed to just tell us the truth."

Pretty much sums it up from the Ducks perspective.

On another note, someone in the Oilers organization should tell the little princess that defensemen should actually play defense. He is pretty bad on D and got abused in his own end.

Any inclination who is gonna be in the net tomorrow night vs COL? I need to drop Fasth or Hiller for the week and hope I make the right choice. Thanks!

Going by past Boudreau reactions Hiller played pretty well last night so I think he'll get the nod. That ain't etched in stone though, hard to tell what Gabby's plan is with the goaltending situation.

I really think this is the reason he's not a Duck. Scott Niedermayer and Carlyle were always imploring him to work on his game in his own end and I think the great Justin Schultz just got tired of Norris trophy winners telling HIM how to play. I don't know this for a fact of course but it's the best reason I can think of.

Fortunately for the Ducks the only thing that really matters is out-scoring your opponent. In fact two of the recent games that Anaheim dominated in time of possession and shots ( the second game against the Red Wings and the third game against the Stars) were losses. I'll take scoreboard over time-of-possession every time.

Not the attitude to have come playoff time. You can outscore half of the West that won't make the playoffs but if your GM doesn't find better defensive players expect to be no better than the Canucks.
